About Us
Our Mission
Rogue Womxn (formerly Wild Womyn of the Rogue Valley) is a Southern Oregon community organization that creates safe, supportive, and affirming spaces for lesbians, bisexual, pansexual, trans women, and non-binary individuals. The group's mission is to promote connection and foster community.
The CARES program provides ongoing support to Rogue Womxn members during times of emergency needs. Assistance may include direct monetary support, connection to various resource services, and/or advocacy while navigating life challenges.
Our History
The organization began in 2015 as "Wild Womyn" with weekly coffee gatherings. We revised our mission statement and changed the name to Rogue Womxn in 2023 to better reflect our commitment to inclusivity and gender diversity. We also added a wider spectrum of events to support the interests of group members.
We are a volunteer-led organization with an advisory board of 3-8 members who meet monthly to review, assess and update operational procedures. We formerly operated under the fiscal sponsorship of the Multicultural Association of Southern Oregon. In 2025 we became a public benefit nonprofit organization and our application for 501c(3) is underway.
Our Events
Throughout the year, our goal is to offer a variety of community building events. Some of our past festivities include the Summer Kick-off Party, Fall Camp-Out, Friendsgiving Holiday Party, and New Year’s Eve Party. In addition, we love to get together for lake days, river rafting, hikes, dinners, happy hours, coffee hours, plays, etc.

Our program is a way for us to support one another! It is an outreach program serving three needs: emotional, financial and material.
